Good evening,
I´ve downloaded and installed your Garmin map (Frankreich-süd) in Basecamp and
I can´t see any hillshading (shummerung). Is it normal or not? Your card seems
very interesting but hillshading allows a better readability.
I´ve translated your map legend in french language. If you want it, just tell
me...
Thanks for your answer.
Problem with hillshading in Basecamp

There is no problem, hill shading is just not supported by the Garmin map
format. At least this ist true for the old format which all free maps are using.

Hello Nop,
perhaps a problem of german-french translation but I understood that the
Garmin map you propose has the same fields and the same appearance (up to the
hillshading GPS can´t draw) that the online-card. In that case, is there a
program to display it on my PC or not?
Thanks for all.

Yes, probably lost in translation. The desciption says it look the same except
for the hillshading.
As it is not supported by the map format itself it is also missing when you
install the map on a PC.
